ENERGY SUPPLY SYSTEMS

Successful through the energy transition

We secure your energy supply

By 2030, at least 80% of Germany’s electricity consumption is to be covered by renewable energies, such as solar, wind, and hydro power. This poses infrastructural challenges for the economy and utilities, particularly in terms of cost efficiency and security of supply. This makes it all the more important to efficiently manage production overcapacity and lulls in order to use electricity not only sustainably, but also in a way that adds value. This is exactly where our energy supply solutions come in, combining solution expertise, experience, and technological leadership to your advantage.

Grid-connected battery storage systems – BESS

Grid-connected battery storage systems play a key role in ensuring the stability and efficiency of the German power grid in the context of the energy transition. They enable the short-term provision of balancing energy, reduce grid bottlenecks through load shifting (peak shaving), and support local and supraregional grid balancing in the event of fluctuating feed-in from photovoltaic and wind power plants. Through the integration of intelligent control technology, they contribute to frequency maintenance and voltage stability and help to avoid costly grid expansion measures. In this way, they make an essential contribution to security of supply in an increasingly decentralized and volatile energy system.

Industrial Energy Storage

With smart behind-the-meter solutions, energy-sensitive companies benefit from optimal utilization of fluctuating market prices without having to switch to the energy generation side themselves. Individual hybrid approaches are also possible thanks to our customizable system management.

Components for generation plants

As a specialized partner for solar installers, we take care of the complete technical implementation of medium-voltage connections for large photovoltaic systems in accordance with the requirements of VDE-AR-N 4110 (TAR Medium Voltage). Our range of services includes the design and installation of protection technology (including NA and grid protection), the commissioning and parameterization of EZA controllers (generation plant controllers), and the integration of modern telecontrol technology for secure and standard-compliant communication with the grid operator. In doing so, we ensure that all relevant specifications for grid compatibility, feed-in management, reactive power provision, and grid serviceability are reliably met.

Schaper Energy Control – SEnC

With our intelligent energy management system SEnC (Schaper Energy Control), we offer a CODESYS-based control and regulation solution that dynamically optimizes generation and procurement systems to achieve maximum self-sufficiency. External factors such as weather forecasts and electricity price data from the EEX are integrated into the control strategy. SEnC meets all regulatory requirements as an EZA controller and as telecontrol technology in accordance with VDE-AR-N 4110, enabling standard-compliant communication with the distribution network operator.
